Possum Parts

I was mowing my backyard and kept coming across possum snouts and tails. They were pinkish-brown and they were all over my yard. I thought to myself that there must be a lot of possums shedding their parts, like snakes shed their skins, but the parts were rubbery not papery. Sam and Rudy were playing with the parts and I was trying to avoid them as I mowed the yard.
